Maik and Jill were on a world trip for months, but had to cancel it early because of the corona crisis. As soon as they are back in the Netherlands, Jill immediately goes house hunting. They soon run into their dream home: a new-build house in Heiloo, The Netherlands. Unfortunately, in addition to their busy jobs in healthcare, they do not succeed to make it a real home.

Because the house is new-build, they find it difficult to turn it into an attractive whole. They also lack guts and neither of them take action to change anything.
